UMO Helsinki Jazz Orch. featuring Efrat Alony

The band sounded great! and Ed Partyka's intricate arrangements to my favourite Israeli song-book made me slightly homesick, or at least nudged a yearning for a place, that I used to call home. Whether it is still the same place now- is a question I am afraid to answer. Although I did encounter some "official" Israelis who made me BELIEVE again...

The City was magical. apart from the SEA, SEA, SEA and the wonderful northern sun-light it was almost Covid-free- just like MAGIC.
